KRAFTON is All Set to Take PUBG Back in India

It was officially announced by PUBG Corp on 12th November 2020 with a teaser featuring famous Indian streamers Jonathan, Dynamo, and Kronten on Facebook and Instagram. Saying that the most loved game PUBG will be back in India soon…

The game was banned by the Government of India earlier in 2020 stating it as a threat to National security including many other applications including the mostly used TikTok, CamScanner, and many other Chinese apps from the Play Store and Apple iStore.

PUBG is Coming soon

PUBG is set to partner up with KRAFTON to bring back PUBG Mobile operating on Indian servers with a small change in its name as “PUBG Mobile India” by keeping the importance of data and privacy of gamers in mind.

After the ban, several Indian companies came up to make a similar version of PUBG to fill the gap that PUBG left behind and have “Made in India” games like FAU-G which is set to launch this month by n-core Games.

Specialized for Release in India

A newly designed for India, PUBG with KRAFTON revealed plans how secure the game would be different from the older version. Where gamers will experience healthy and immersive gameplay. The game will be also specialized that will have restrictions in time of gameplay, promoting healthy gameplay habits.

Security and Privacy

PUBG Corp announced that the security and privacy of players will be at the top-notch. The company also said that it will conduct audits and tests regularly to neatly manage their data safety. The company has also planned to use Indian servers to keep the information even more secure.

Indian investments and Indian team

Going with the “Swadeshi” principles to encourage India. KRAFTON with PUBG Corp has planned to invest USD 100 million in Indian companies to build and run the game. And it is also planning to host events based in India such as tournaments, prize pools, etc.

They also planned to hire employees from India from IT sectors, production teams to enhance services and communication services.
